Namo Amitabha Buddha Silk Painting Li Zuoxia 1963
Li Zuoxia (1963.4.- ) Permanent member of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association, National Master Artist, Chinese Artist Painting and Calligraphy Association Secretary. Namo Amitabha Buddha is the king of Buddha, the most respected. The artist uses simplistic colours and fine lines, head with golden halo, shining through the Dharma, ornate but not gaudy. The face is peaceful and filled with compassion in his two big round eyes, the kasaya is painted in pale yellow and red, giving a sense of warmth and serenity. With drooping right hand and left hand holding a red lotus, contrasting with the lotus at his feet, showing infinite love and leading the miserable people to the world of bliss! The whole painting is sublime and graceful, expressing the kindness of Namo Amitabha with cleansed lotus, sprinkle to save the sentient beings!
