Ballard military rifle converted to a percussion muzzle loader. This is a very interesting gun. The condition of the barrel is excellent with good blue on just about all of the barrel. The buttstock is original, but the forearm is a replacement. Very nice gun!Read more
Very Rare Smith Jennings Repeater. Very fine condition with 90% of the brown finish in the barrel. Trace amounts of blue are on the frame. Wood has been refinished at some point. The engraving on the frame is nice and sharp. Action works perfectly and the bore is bright and shiny. These guns are rarely encountered. The Smith Jennings was a forerunner of the Winchester. There is not a lot of information on these gun and considering the published production figures, you don’t see these very often. This leaves us to believe that the survivability of these guns is very low; a more likely scenario is not as many were made as is published. Very rare gun in very fine condition!Read more
