AUTOGRAPHS AUTOGRAPH LETTER/ENVELOPE FROM FAMOUS BELL-FOUNDER JAMES HARRISON & DUKE OF WELLINGTON; 28 Mar. 1803 EL written & signed by famous bell-founder "James Harrison" (nephew of the even more acclaimed John Harrison the inventor of marine chronometer etc., with whom this man may have worked) to Gilbert Wheat's ancestor "James Wheat Esq., Sheffield" (with a very fine scarce "BARTON/168" boxed mileage) about a newly completed bell sent off by ship to Sheffield ready to hang; plus fine 2 June 1834 env. MULREADY STATIONERY & PROPAGANDA COVERS YARMOUTH (NORFOLK) USAGE OF THE 2D BLUE MULREADY ENVELOPE WITH ORANGE-RED MX; 4 Dec. 1840 usage of the Stereo a203 2d Blue Mulready envelope to Lowestoft cancelled by a fine orange-red Maltese Cross matching the mainly very fine "YARMOUTH NORFOLK" c.d.s. on the side-flap (which has a small piece missing just clear of the c.d.s.).
