A CHINESE PAINTED ENAMEL 'EUROPEAN SUBJECT' CUP
The cup is decorated with two shaped panels, one with a lady carrying a basket of apples next to a water buffalo, and the other with a gentleman reclining with a basket of flowres, all on a yellow ground with lotus scrolls. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. Condition: Appears to be in overall good condition, with some light crackling to the enamel of the interior. A Chinese ivory carving of Guanyin
The Guanyin is modelled wearing an elaborate necklace and long flowing openwork robes, she has a serene expression and her hair in a high chignon behind a tiara. She holds a flyshisk in one hand and she is modelled recumbent with her other hand propping up her head on a sectional openwork pierced rock base. The underside with an apocryphal incised Qianlong seal mark.\nWith a wood stand.\n\nPlease note: this lot contains ivory and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations. A CHINESE TRANSITIONAL-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE SLEEVE VASE
The vase is decorated in shades of cobalt blue with various birds in flight amongst flowers growing from branches, all below wispy clouds and a moon. The foot is decorated with an incised wave band and a floral scroll to the shoulder. the waisted neck is decorated with flower sprays.
