A65-1 copper somovar circa 1775-1790
Made by Parkinson of London. Probably the possession of the Duke of Kent when he was the governor of Nova Scotia. He left and returned to England about 1804. The Duke of Kent was the father of Queen Victoria. Documentation Shows that the Duke disposed of the good prior to returning to England. A lawyer in Nova Scotia supposedly owned it till 1850.
