An early 20th century amethyst pendant.
An early 20th century amethyst pendant, designed as two pear-shape amethyst collets, suspended from an oval amethyst collet, to the trace-link chain. Length 41cms. Weight 4.7gms.\n\nOverall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The amethysts are a light purple hue with light scratches and nibbles. Typical inclusions present. The pear-shape amethysts have slightly larger chips/nibbles. Length of drop 3.5cms. Clasp hoop stamped 925. Two 9ct gold gem-set rings. The first designed as a brilliant-cut diamond line crossover, the second designed as a heart-shape pink sapphire with brilliant-cut diamond shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 3.9gms.\n\nOverall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches and wear in keeping with general wear. White metal plating has worn off of the bottom of the bands. Would recommend attention to all settings as some diamonds loose. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification.
