Citroen DS Super 1970 Manual - With its 2.1 litre engine coupled to the sought after 5 speed manual gearbox, this recently arrived in the UK DS Citroen was described to us as being a bit of a flyer on its way over. Effortlessly cruising at motorway speeds, in the true comfort only Citroen offered in the sixties and early seventies. Mechanically all is good, especially the engine and gearbox. Cosmetically it is good with some small areas that could be improved, but nothing that detracts from its general good looks and far better than cars that have been offered lately at nearly twice the reserve this one is offered with! Interior is a nice original one with that smell and feel you only get from the original leather etc. There is some general ageing, I think its called Patina nowadays, but again nothing that a good feed with leather treatment and a clean would not improve, its lasted 46 years and would be a shame to do more. Roof lining is very good as are the dash, instruments, door cards etc etc. So if youre in the market for one of these instantly recognised cars at a price that will not break the bank but one that is mechanically strong and perfectly useable as is, this has got to be considered. Supplied with all its French papers to allow registration in which ever country it sells to and an age related registration if it stays here in the UK Note. Car pictured as arrived and not cleaned yet.Read more

Armstrong Siddeley 12-6 Saloon 1933 - Having purchased this car in 1997 the vendors father spent many an hour tinkering in the garage, making what was already a good car, better. Unfortunately in 2008 he passed away and left this and the rest of his collection to his son. Since then, other than being run out on the odd occaision to keep everything free and operational, it has remained where he parked it. Having decided that it was time for it to go we are proud the vendor has chosen us to do this for him. The car in question is a very rare model 1933 Armstrong Siddeley 12- 6 Model, designating it as having a 12hp 6 cylinder engine.Previous to the vendors father purchasing it, it had under gone a full restoration and is still in excellent condition externally. The interior trim shows slight signs of dryness to the seat leather, or "Patina" as its often called, otherwise is very nice with all the rear blinds, exit handles etc in place. Mechanically it is spot on and would need very little re-comissioning if any acording to the vendor, prior to use. The 6 cylinder engine and its "pre-select" gearbox both operate well and it brakes in a straight line. Obviously you do have to remember it is a Vintage car and should be treated as such. The other notable thing about this car is its history file with invoices, bills of sale etc stretching right back over its lifetime, complete with old pictures of its restoration at the end of the 80's. These cars rarely come to the market and as such we feel the vendor is being very realistic with his reserve on this beautiful bit of motoring history. Better pictures will follow when we have it out of the garage ( when the rain stops!)Read more

Honda 50 AC15 Dream Race replica with ultra low miles - Do you ride it or put it on the wall, it is after all as pretty as a picture?? These diminutive 50cc Honda Motorcycles, named a AC- 15 Honda Dream were produced for one year only, 1997/8 to commemorate the successful 1962 Honda CR110 single cylinder racer. Not only was the production run a very short one but they were only produced for the Japanese Domestic Market and as such were never an officially imported bike elsewhere, making them a very rare thing and an instant collectors piece. This particular bike is as good as new with only 26 Kilometres (16 miles) on the odometer. It was first registered new in the UK in March 2001 by a motorcycle shop that did not resell until 2005 so you can only surmise it was on show. From then a company owned it prior to the vendor that put it into his private collection, which is where it stayed, still with just the one previous keeper ( the bike shop) showing on the V5. Honda really pulled out all the stops with this bike, even designing a rarely seen configuration single cylinder engine with double over-head cam shafts, a double tube frame and disc brakes front and rear. Toped of with the one of tank, tail piece and dropped bars to replicate the original racer. As you can see the bike is just about as good as new with just a very slight ageing on things like the spokes, maybe the tiniest mark here and there, it is effectively nearly 20 years old after all. It will need to be recommissioned if you want to use it or just get the no more nails out! A very rare opportunity to buy such a low mileage example and super collectable and one that will make you smile every time you look at it.Read more

Mitsubishi FTO GPX Mivec Tiptronic 1995 - Having only had two owners since arriving here in the UK in 1997 this lovely condition Sports Coupe has still only got just over 119000 Kms on the clock (73000 miles) and comes with loads of history and old MOTs to back this up. The body work is very good and still in its original and rare to find black paint with the correct graphics in place. There is no rust or signs of repair just a nice deep shine from years of being looked after and polished. Its under the bonnet where the fun is though, here you will find the GPX variant of probably one of the sweetest V6 petrol engines made. Mitsubishis V6 24 Valve Double Over Head Camshaft Mivec which produces a claimed 200HP at 7500 Rpm. More than enough to give the car shall we say a spirited performance especially when coupled to a tiptronic auto as this one is. The GPX sensibly also comes with larger brakes than its lower powered siblings and wide alloy wheels, which on this car are in great condition with no kerb marks or corrosion. These cars love the twisty bits that is in no doubt, but they are also more than happy on a motorway or in town traffic. Click the gearbox back over to full auto, switch the air con on and enjoy. Interior is all good and comes fully optioned with power windows, door locks and electrically adjusted door mirrors that also fold at the press of a button. The heating and ventilation is a full climate control system. Seats are fully adjustable sports type in the front and there is room in the back for two kids or smaller adults. Mechanically everything is stated to be very good and there is a current MOT through till September so it is ready to go. With the classic car market now viewing Japanese cars as proper classics it is hardly surprising that a lovely sporting coupe like this, when in this condition and spec, are becoming sought after. Good looks, stunning reliability, excellent road holding and performance, what is there not to like?Read more
Fiat 500D "Transformabile" 1964 - Back in 1960 Fiat launched the Fiat 500D as a replacement for the outgoing model the Nuova 500. While retaining the outgoing models "suicide doors" they decided to replace the full length folding roof with one that only folded halfway, apart from that is on the rare model they called the "Transformable" making this model particularly sought after and very collectable today. Here we have a lovely example. Built in 1964 and restored approximately 10 years ago by an Italian Coachbuilder in Italy who rebuilt the engine, the interior and painted the body. Today the paint work is still very presentable with only minor imperfections. In fact all the original glass is still in place and is clear with only very fine hairline marks. All exterior trim is present, correct and in good condition and complimented by new chrome bumpers. The interior is still in great condition and it even the original over mats are present with only light marks. The engine starts with no hesitation, settles down to a nice even tick over and when on the road pulls cleanly, making the most of the 17hp that its 499cc produces. All the electrics work correctly and the overall mechanics are described as very good and there is a current UK MOT until 21st April 2017.Having watched and seen what other examples have sold for, this car is being offered with a very reasonable reserve and would complement any collection while increasing in value year on year.Read more

Toyota Landcruiser Colorado VX 1998 - Just released from a company specialising in the supply of Military vehicles is this great looking Expedition Style Toyota Land Cruiser. With only 174K on the clock its 3 litre diesel engine runs superbly, starting instantly with no nasty smoke, while the 2w/4w drive system works exactly as designed. This model is known for its reliability and ruggedness, this one is no different. Interior has been protected by heavy duty seat covers and the grey leather it is fitted with has survived well, just the usual dryness on the drivers seat bolster. Elsewhere there are the odd scuff here and there but with a deep clean it will respond well, this is a seven seater. Electrics all work with all the options these vehicles came with as standard being present. Exterior is very solid but the paint has suffered in places with poor lacquer on some of the painted surfaces and some crazing on the roof side panels, both looking fine from 3 feet away. An expensive custom made full length roof rack complete with rear ladder access and 5 custom spot lights is fitted as are 5 recently fitted, extra-large, mud tyres and a rear tow bar. Now surplus to requirement and being offered with a very reasonable reserve. Comes with 10 months MOT so ready to go.Read more

BMW E30 320i Cabriolet 1990 - This superb BMW E30 320i Cabriolet is in the sort of condition that cars with half its mileage and age would like to be in. Its metallic "Calypso Red" paintwork and the rare leather Recaro interior are both excellent for a car that is 25 years old and still original. The paint has no more than a few little marks and the contrasting biscuit coloured leather interior is in good condition, just some wear on the passenger seat bolster. Its 2 litre 6 cylinder engine may have covered 205,000 miles but runs smoothly with no smoke or rattles and shows how well this car has been cared for. Presented complete with its original full tool kit, it's rare to find glove box torch, service and owners books and the non-original wheels you see will be replaced by the original 4 x 7×15 BMW cross spoke wheels (pictured separately) to return the car to 100% original The vendor reports all areas of the car to be very good. He has placed a very sensible reserve on the car to allow the market to decide its value. . E30 BMW's are fast becoming some of the most collectable cars of their Era and hard to find in this original condition, definitely one for the collection. With an MOT long into next year its ready to go.Read more
Honda GL1000 K1 Gold Wing 1976 - GL 1000 Wings are a rare enough sight on our roads today, but to find a genuine UK spec, not EU or American bike in this sort of condition, that is not locked away in a private collection or museum and that is available to buy, is almost unheard of! This 1976 K1 version with only 21,488 on the clock (believed to be correct and backed up by old MOTs etc) is in overall very good condition and is still in use, so you can get on and enjoy it. Coming with good history including service receipts, its original tool kit and owners handbook. MOTs back to 1984, its old tax discs and with the current MOT valid until July 2017. The vendor has recently fitted new Continental tyres front and rear and reports the bike rides very well. This Goldwing really does offer an excellent opportunity to not only own a bit of Japanese motorcycle history, but also an excellent investment for the future as these early Wings get harder and harder to find with values increasing accordingly.Read more

Citroen 2CV Charleston Fully Restored 1987 - Another superbly restored example of a Citroen 2CV. Sympathetically restored to retain its originality in all areas where ever possible, this stunning car ticks all the boxes if you are looking for one of the best 2CV's available, you have found it. Not just a quick flick over with a top coat of shiny paint, this car has been restored not resprayed. Its bodywork is top notch being repainted to factory standards throughout, lift the bonnet and its more of the same. Open the doors and the interior is perfect looking almost un-used which technically that's not far wrong. The attention to detail lavished on this car is astonishing, with no stone left unturned. Mechanically if it was worn out, damaged or just substandard, it has been changed. It really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Supplied with its original Jack, wheel brace and a full history file that even has the original PDI sheet and bill of sale plus its handbook and coming with a full mot. The best bit is that the way the market is for good 2CV's its value has gone up while you were reading this.Read more

Honda PC50 Moped 1975 - How cute is this? A very nice example of a Honda PC 50 Moped. It is a true moped as it has no foot rests just the fully enclosed pedals that you start it with and can "assist" on those steeper bits if you want. It appears to be totally original apart from the seat cover which is new and only has 2900 miles on the clock. The vendor has had it in his collection, next to things like an MV Agusta, because it is so unusual to find a small capacity, classic Japanese bike in this non restored order. It does run but will need to be recommisioned and a V5 Log book will need to be applied for. Not a whole lot of money for a bit of history .Read more

Landrover Defender 90 Turbo Diesel 1990 SWB Pick up - THIS CAR IS LISTED AS A TOTAL LOSS Estimated cost of Commercial repair was more than value of vehicle. This very nice Landy has as you can see, been subject to a total loss claim in 2015. Apparently it had a minor under bonnet fire but we cannot verify this, either way it is listed as not commercially viable to repair and the insurers wrote it off! Not an uncommon occurrence nowadays and becoming more and more common due to the inflated rates charged by some repair companies. You tell me how many 26 year old Land Rovers that A. Have not had some damage in their life and B. Look this good? With only 104K miles on the clock it really is a very nice example. The 2.5 Liter Diesel engine fires straight up with no fuss and being this later model, its equipped with a five speed gearbox. On the road the turbo pulls it along very well. Brakes and general mechanics are all good and there is a current MOT through to July 2017. (Exhaust tail pipe is missing) Wheels and tyres are all very good. Interior is tidy with genuine floor mats and no sign of heavy usage. The passenger door does have the internal lock knob missing though, otherwise all good. With the demise of production, these real Land Rovers are getting harder to find and more expensive by the day. Without this ones history then it would definitely be worth 8k or so, this gives someone the opportunity to own one for far less.Read more

Mini Mayfair 1000 1987 - Described as a Bonny little car that makes you smile when you drive it! When you drive a Mini, even a bad one which this one certainly isnt, you can understand just what the vendor means. Why the Mini is loved throughout the world and is probably the most recognised car ever built. Even BL in their darkest hours could not kill it, just EU impact laws finally killing it off! This nice Mayfair Edition has the 998cc motor and manual gearbox, giving crisp performance and the better more Up-Market interior complete with nicer seat trim and wooden dash. The vendor bought the car as a bit of a project for himself, running and good on the body but needing things like a new rear sub frame and as he says A good overhaul. This has all now been done by him and there is a current MOT through to January next year. The mileage is showing as 57K but the car came with no history so no guarantee that as correct, but the condition of things like the interior trim, which is all good, would suggest this could be correct. The engine and gearbox are both very good and again could point to the low miles showing. Exterior is very good and helping with this are a nice set of period alloy wheels that have been fitted instead of the standard wheels the Mayfair came with. Paintwork is shiny and all the bright work is good. Mechanically and electrics are now good, with any problems recently being addressed for its MOT. This is a good example of a sought after car that is ready to go and make a new owner smile.Read more
