1966 The Beatles Yesterday & Today Butcher Cover Original Photograph

About the object

The most notorious album cover in entertainment history was quickly pulled from production when the Beatles Butcher album was deemed too offensive. Pieces of meat and parts of dolls do not mix well. This 8x10" photo, with pencil marks on front, shows the Beatles in aprons with the body parts and parts of an animal throughout. The reverse includes a "Daily News Jun 23 1966" stamp and paper caption explaining the gruesome nature of the album. Surface wear is visible on front. HID07601242017
