Illustrated thereon by 14 black & white plates by Hogarth (5 of these being fold-out); and 12 of the binder's additional hand-coloured plates by J. Clark (1819). A small narrow circa 1cm wide spot of insect damage to leather on rear board panel. Otherwise just very minor rubbing and handling. Marginal crease at upper fore corner of frontispiece. Closed edges, frontis and title page foxed, with foxing and occasional marking throughout thereon, being mainly, though not entirely, marginal. One folding plate has a crude old tape repair (see pic). Small closed edge tear to foot of one index page. Contents remain clear and complete nonetheless. Binding square and firm.
