An attractive pair Chinese famille rose plates, dating circa 1765

For sale, an attractive pair of Chinese famille rose plates, dating circa 1765. As a complete pair they are each decorated with a central rocky garden scene, the rim picked out with a most unusual white enamel decoration of bamboo leaves and prunus. The reverse left plain. Each one approx. 23cm in diameter by approx. 2.5 cm deep. One plate with one hairline and three rim chips to the brown rim dressing, the second is without any hairlines but has 3 slight rim chips to the brown rim dressing only and one reverse rim flake. The enamels are strong and bright on both plates making them both most attractive. The pair are priced at £225.00
