For sale this exceptionally fine WW1 Royal Navy Admiralty issue deck watch by Bolton Smith ref No 792, in full silver case, dating 1915/1916. Mint fully signed dial and movement in fully working order having recently been fully serviced. This is a rare example by this maker supplied to the Admiralty in 1916. A copy of the Admiralty records show this particular watch was issued to HMS Dido, then stolen from HMS Morris. A fabulous deck watch with good Naval History. Difficult to find better. Diameter 52mm excluding crown.
