"." One page in French, 7.75" x 12.25", [Paris?]; Sunday, September 28, [circa 1920-1923]. In this letter addressed "" an unnamed correspondent, Radiguet makes several literary references, including a letter he wrote (at the recipient's suggestion) to French poet Louis Aragon (1897-1982), and to his friend, the French poet, playwright, and novelist Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) [English translation], "[vacation homework]." At the bottom, Radiguet mentions his on-and-off lover, painter Irène Lagut (1893-1994).Raymond Radiguet (1903-1923) was a French novelist and poet whose two novels -  [The Devil in the Flesh], published in 1923, and  [Count d'Orgel's Ball], published posthumously in 1924 - were noted for their explicit themes, and unique style and tone. He died in Paris at the age of 20 from tuberculosis.Condition: Letter has horizontal and vertical folds, some minor edge wear; otherwise good.HID07601242017
