One sheet folded twice, 6 panels (8 ½" x 11"), photograph of Philbrick testifying. Some grubbiness and soiling, horizontal crease from folding, VG. Not found in OCLC. A reprint of Herbert Philbrick's alarmist article first published in the "Christian Herald" concerning Communist infiltration of U.S. churches with the ultimate goal to subvert and destroy all religious and moral structures. Philbrick claims the CP has brainwashed both clergymen and church youth and warns church leaders to watch for seemingly innocuous overtures from CP front groups. Philbrick spent nine years infiltrating the Communist Party for the FBI and testified on behalf of the prosecution during the Smith Act trials. His book, "I Led Three Lives" (1952) was a bestseller and later a syndicated drama series starring Richard Carlson.
