Original unclipped jacket with photograph of Doyle and 7/6net price crossed out and replaced with 9/6 to the front panel. The boards have been well protected by the jacket and are clean and bright with only a small patch of sunning to the left hand side of the foot of the spine and a little light rubbing to the lower fore edge corners. There are couple of light marks to edges of the text block. Internally, the book is very clean and bright with no inscriptions or marks. The dust jacket is well preserved with a little dust staining to the rear board, rubbing and minimal loss to the fore edge corners and slightly more to the shoulder tips with at a maximum a chip of 1cm missing from the left hand side of the foot of the jacket. There is a little creasing and a few tiny closed tears to the top and bottom edges and a scuff and closed tear of 1.5cm to the rear panel one centimetre up from the lower fore edge panel. The dust jacket is now protected in a removable clear jacket (not shown). A very presentable copy.
