1st Thus. Pictorial boards, 208pp, with 8 colour plates taken from stills of the picture by M.G.M. and 8 black and white full page line drawings by W. W. Denslow. Together with original pictorial dust jacket that echoes the boards underneath. The boards are a little rubbed along the bottom edges and the bottom fore edge corner of the lower board has a small bump. There are a few very light spots to the boards but generally they are very good. The top edge of the text block is dust darkened and spotted. Internally, there is some acid migration toning to the front free endpapers and title page and a few spots across the prelims. There is a partially removed inscription at the top of the ffep and small creases with tiny chips to the edge of the title page and following two. Otherwise, the pages are very clean. The binding is tight and square. The original dust jacket is rubbed along both joints with chips at each spine panel corner. The fore edges are a little rubbed with minor loss at each fore edge corner. The front panel is lightly age soiled with occasional very light spots, the spine panel has small spots and the rear panel is age soiled and has two small stain tide marks. The jacket has been clipped but bears a price sticker at the bottom of the front flap. An unusual edition with film images which are not present in any American edition. Very presentable and scarce with its original dust jacket. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions.
