This is a London manufactured Royal Irish Constabulary double action six shot revolver made for the Metropolitan police that has rack number 337 stamped in front of the crane. Top strap is stamped "P. WEBLEY & SON - BIRMINGHAM". Left side of frame has Webley logo. Features blue finish, non-fluted cylinder, round barrel, one piece checkered walnut grips, metal butt, and lanyard ring. CONDITION: Retains approximately 80% of its original high polish factory blue finish with overall high edge wear and some finish loss on frame. Sharp legends. Grips do not fit well and show chipping and some wood loss; restoration of grips will really make this revolver. Indexes and locks up tight.
