Peder Moos was a cabinetmaker born in Sønderborg, Denmark. During his lifetime he only made a few pieces, which all came to gain great attention. Moose’s work was made on demand, could take very long to complete and the price was never set until the piece was finished. He studied under Kaare Klint and Einar Utzon-Franck at the ROyal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked in Paris, Geneva and Lausanne before finally settling in Copenhagen 1935. Moos mixes Scandinavian Elegance with Art Nouveau and is also characterised by the use of high quality wood.
