Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) Denmark

The Danish designer and architect Ib Kofod-Larsen studied at the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and relatively quickly gained international recognition. His style characterised the 50's and 60's and was popular on the market. It has become more and more coveted in recent years.
Kofod-Larsen was also one of the most influential designers at the British firm G-plan.
Kofod-Larsen never had a specific niche but made several different kinds of furniture, like sideboards, chairs and sofas, often made in rosewood and palisander.
