Bradley Walker Tomlin (1899-1953) USA

Tomlin was an american artist and part of the New York School’s generation of abstract expressionists. Inspired by Adolph Gottlieb his paintings were usually cubist still lifes. After the second world war his paintings attained a more somber and elegiac style.
Tomlin studied at Syracuse University in New York and Académie Colarossi as well as Academie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.
