Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a crystal that can occur in a variety of colors. The word tourmaline means “multicolored stone” and sometimes a single stone may contain several different colors per se. In fact, tourmaline can vary in color and nuance more than any other gemstone. The value of these stones varies greatly, from affordable to extremely expensive for the finest specimens. Unlike other gemstones, it is difficult to produce synthetic tourmaline, which is the reason that only genuine tourmaline can be found on the market. Hardness on the Mohs scale is 7-7.5. It can be found in Brazil.
