An autograph card of Walt Disney himself will be sure it ignite excitement in the biggest of fans. The animation pioneer invented some of the most famous cartoon figures of our time - especially Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, who, along with Walt himself, both have a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
Walt Disney's adaptations of fairy tales and stories are still to this day adored around the world. The 1937 hit Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first full-length animated film. Many others, including Dumbo, Bambi and The Jungle Book, followed and quickly became favourites for both adults and children alike. A true master of cinema, Disney also produced films with actors, combining animation and live action, as seen in the groundbreaking Mary Poppins.
Music also played a vital role in Disney's films, and continues to do so today. Walt Disney received many awards for his work during his lifetime, having won 26 Oscars, he is the most frequently honoured artist at the Academy Awards.
