Art on a Postcard raises money for The Hepatitis C Trust through an annual secret postcard auction. Artists Sir Peter Blake, Damien Hirst, Gavin Turk, Gilbert and George, Polly Morgan, Michael Craig-Martin, Cecily Brown, Grayson Perry and Julian Opie have lent their talents to the cause, creating anonymous works on postcards. See a list of this year's artists here.

Before the 16th November sale in Ewbank's Surry sale room, a preview will be held at Unit London, in Soho, on 14th November. This year, over 600 postcard-sized original works have been created by contemporary artists as well as Royal Academicians Mick Rooney, Vanessa Jackson, Rebecca Salter and Mali Morris. A catalogue will be available to view online at The Auction Room from September 2017.

Last year's auction raised more than £75 000 for The Hepatitis C Trust, which works towards eliminating the virus as a major public health concern in the UK by 2030.

Gemma Peppé, director of the initiative, comments, ''Art on a Postcard has blossomed into the best revenue source The Hepatitis C Trust has ever had. It’s fantastic to be able to combine such a successful and enjoyable event with raising serious money for charity.''
