On 7th December, fashion and fashion photography take to the runway. 19 portraits by famed photographer Richard Avedon, who died in 2004, will be part of this sale.

Jewellery, wristwatches and pocket watches will be going under the gavel on the same day. The absolute highlight is an extremely rare perpetual calendar by Patek Philippe from the year 1985.

On 8th December, the day begins with design featuring contemporary creations by Arne Jacobsen, IBU, Le Corbusier, Hubert Le Gall and Guy de Rougemont. Followed by Art Nouveau and Art Deco furniture and Objet d'art.

Later that day, Impressionist and Modernist works will be up for auction. Artists including Raoul Dufy, Gustave Loiseau, Emil Nolde, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Maurice de Vlaminck and Max Beckmann will all be part of this auction.

The final auction on 8th December focuses on the crème de la crème of Swiss artist. Felix Vallotton, Albert Anker, Hans Erni, Varlin aka Willy Guggenheim, Ernest Bieler, Ferdinand Hodler and Cuno Amiet are some of the names to feature as well as 10 works by Giovanni Giacometti. Inverno from 1932 is the most highly valued painting in the department and, with its soft application of color it captures the textures of freshly fallen snow.

In the auction Graphic & Multiples sale on December 9, works by Pablo Picasso, Tom Wesselmann, Robert Indiana and Gerhard Richter will all be going under the gavel. Roy Lichtenstein's Thinking Nude, State I from 1994 is from the last major series created by the Pop Art icon. In the colored relief print, 40 years of Lichtenstein honing his craft is evident.

The last auction will be dedicated to Post-war & Contemporary. Two untitled works by Chinese painter Chu Teh-Chun will be part of this auction. Chu Teh-Chun, who was born into an art-loving family, was enthusiastic about Nicolas de Staël's abstract works of the 1950s. He himself became a master of Lyrical Abstraction, presenting us here with a harmonious landscape in forms and colors.
