Art Buff, Banksy's mural painted in Folkestone has been removed and will be up for sale at auction.

The piece is estimated to be worth around £300,000 with profits going to a local charity. It will be auctioned at the sole UK dealership which sells Banksy's works, London's Bankrobber Gallery.

It took a team of workmen to remove the painting, who were interrupted by a group of artists who protested against it's removal.

The Godden family who own the wall on which the mural is painted asked for it to be removed as they feared they would no longer be able to protect it from damage.

Damian Collins, Conservative MP for Folkestone and Hythe appeald to the Godden family, asking them to keep the Banksy piece for Folkestone.
