Another piece with a celebrity provenance is the 1970s Yamaha 750 TZ, previously owned by French politician and sports motorcyclist enthusiast Christian Estrosi. The motorcycle is one of two ever built and is estimated to fetch between £66 000-75 000 (€75 000-85 000.) In 1978, the future mayor of Nice achieved fourth-place finish in the 500cc 1978 French Grand Prix and fourth-place finish again the following years at the 1979 Spanish Grand Prix.

Another extraordinary model in the sale is the 1993 Porsche 964 RSR yellow. This racing vehicle is one of the ultimate Porsche air-cooled racing cars.

Having never raced, it is in perfect condition and is one of only 51 produced. Such an exquisite piece of motoring has been estimated by HVMC's experts to fetch between €1 000 000 to 1.2 million.

Two Porsche 911s are also going under the hammer as well as a Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT dating from 2000. This supercar with a spectacular and timeless design is an feat of engineering.

This orange Diablo with chrome rims has travelled just over 24 000 miles km on our roads. It is estimated to fetch between £255 500-291 000 (€290 000-330 000.)
