The fair showcases the very best and most original handmade work from these shores and around the world. What sets MADE apart is that the designers and artisans sell their pieces direct to the public at the fair.

Mosaic artist Cleo Mussi will be taking over the Belfry Room at One Marylebone to create a Rest and Reset space. Cleo is working on two brand new figures, Rhea and Demeter which will form part of this special exhibit along with Mitochondrial Eve, a Mother Earth figure holding Homunculus Babe and a Green Man entitled Nature Recycles Everything.

From her studio in Stroud, Gloucestershire Mussi create commissions which take around two to four weeks. The artist creates mosaic sculptures of natural motifs such as flowers, animals and human bodies from hundreds of pieces of mis-matching pottery.

Wedgwood florals; Staffordshire dogs and Emma Bridgewater seconds make up Mussi's works. Messi began her career as an artist studying textiles at Goldsmith's College in the 1980s, before moving on to ceramics.

The artist's 2009 touring show Pharma's Market, saw platters decorated with ceramic vegetables hung next to life-size murals of scientists with test tubes. Her works explore both the natural and the pharmaceutical, with the human form and genetics a reoccurring theme of her oeuvre.

MADE LONDON takes place at One Marylebone, a stunning Sir John Soane Church in central London.
