Converse have joined forces with the Andy Warhol Foundation to produce a line which features Warhol's Campbell's Soup cans as well as other well known Warhol artworks.
Proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Warhol Foundation. The line will go on sale in February, pull your socks up if you are hoping to bag yourself a pair, we are predicting they will fly off the shelf.
The Warhol/Converse partnership has roots back to the 1980s, when Warhol silkscreened his own pair of Chuck Taylors. Shoes have also played an integral part in his works.
Converse All Star design director Damion Silver said: "Andy Warhol famously created art inspired by American pop culture icons, and was a pioneer in utilizing the Chuck Taylor All Star as a blank canvas for his work. From this shared creative history grew our collaboration with Warhol."
The range will be priced between $35 - $90.
