Times Square is arguably the perfect spot to showcase Warhol's work as the artist was inspired by consumerism and iconography.  The films were made in the 1960s by Warhol's famous Silver Factory. He created 500 16MM films in 3 years which featured such pop culture icons as Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and of course, Edie Sedgwick.
