In 1968, Alain Blondel and Yves Plantin founded the Luxembourg Gallery in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Here, they exhibited major artists of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period, such as Tamara de Lempicka, Lepape Georges, Jean Dunand, Rupert Carabin, Boutet de Monvel and more.

Consisting of about 700 works dating mainly from 1880 to 1920, all pieces reflect the styles of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period.

The sale is peppered with works of widely recognised artists like Tamara de Lempicka, Hector Guimard, François Rupert Carabin, Carriès Jean, Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat and Ruhlmann.
