Selbstbildnis mit gespreizten Fingern (Self-Portrait with Spread Fingers) 1909, which Schiele painted at the tender age of 19, will feature in the sale with an estimate of £6 million-£8 million. It was previously sold back in 2007 at Christie's for £4 500 000.

Other top lots in the sale include Chagall's Les mariés de la Tour Eiffel which is estimated at £4.8 million–£6.8 million, Fernand Léger's Le moteur, which has an estimate of £4 million–£6 million and Picasso's 1937 still life Painted on the eve of Guernica which is estimated to fetch £4.5 million–£6.5 million. The sale has a combined estimate of £87.3 million–£129.1 million.
