Jewellery - Watches - Luxury Bags: 6th April

In the vast array of luxury leather pieces on sale at Art Auction France, here at Barnebys we are particularly excited about the two-wardrobe monogrammed Louis Vuitton trunks which were made around 1980.

Last year, the exhibition Fly, sail, fly at the Grand Palais retraced the adventures of the stamped LV trunk. The retrospective was creatively curated by Olivier Saillard who captured two centuries of travel at brand Vuitton.

Another star lot of this section, is a solitaire ring in white gold set with emerald cut diamond. Weighing 6.39 carats, this diamond is accompanied with a GIA certificate and will surely hold the attention of all magpies out there.

Haute Epoque, an Amateur Collection: 7th April

The Haute Epoque period includes works made between late antiquity and the early Renaissance, covering several centuries of artistic creation.

Today, furniture from the Middle Ages, which has been long neglected, is now sparking interest in collectors.
