Start the morning with a scenic drive to Djurgården, the beautiful island which once was a royal hunting ground and is now a part of the world’s first national city park.

Here, check out Waldemarsudde Art Museum with its stunning sculpture park. The mansion once belonged to Prince Eugéne, who was not only a famous artist himself but also an avid art collector.

The next stop is at a prestigious art dealer in Stockholm who has a family owned business run by the third generation. Founded in 1922, it is today's world leader in Scandinavian Art as well as exhibiting works of art ranging from international Old Master paintings, to 18th century works as well as Contemporary Art.

Then it is on to a gallery which was the first in Scandinavia to exhibit American Pop artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein and Frank Stella.

How about a lunch break at Hotel Lydmar? A life-style hotel with an artistic vibe, adjacent to the waterfront with a magnificent view over the Royal Palace and of the Old Town.

A trip to a renowned antique shop which exhibits and sells an exquisite blend of upscale antiques and art with a focus on ''antique versus contemporary.'' It is worth mentioning that they won the Collector's Award a few years ago as the best exhibitor at Sweden's largest art and antique fair.

Also on the agenda is an exhibition at Sven-Harry’s Art Museum. Sven-Harry Karlsson who founded the museum, was a building contractor and an art collector. He decided to build this spectacular museum with its gleaming brass facade, designed by Wingårds Architects, just because he wanted everyone to be able to enjoy his art the way he did!

And then, why not finish this art roadshow with another interesting contemporary art gallery at the forefront of international sculpture exhibiting artists including Louise Bourgois, Anton Gormley, Tony Cragg and Jaume Plensa.
