Auctioneer and fine arts expert William Duggleby says, “Where our new Saleroom differs from most is in its fresh, purpose-built interior providing everyone with a fantastic viewing area…”

He continues, “We’re conscious of the sometimes stuffy image of auctions and we’re keen to encourage younger generations…. having an auction room that matches aspirations of buyers and sellers is a huge leap in the right direction.”

Duggleby Stephenson is a fusion of the David Duggleby business based in Scarborough, which will maintain its coastal salerooms, and Boulton & Cooper Stephensons of Malton and York. William Duggleby and Rodney Cordingley will manage the business.

We at Barnebys are excited to see what comes from this new venture. Watch this space for find out.
