The gnome is signed by the four-piece which Heritage's consignment director Dean Harmeyer describes as "a true rarity and a cornerstone piece of any Beatles collection."

Cut-outs featured in the album artwork include Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan, Marlon Brando, and Aldous Huxley. The gnome going under the gavel was originally seen to the right of George Harrison.

Blake's cover represented the band's favourite objects, people from history and pop culture and was inspired by a drawing by McCartney.

Photography assistant Michael Cooper kept the gnome as a souvenir from the shoot on 30th March, 1967. The gnome is expected to sell for $25 000.
