Haynault's next sale will be held on 14th November and will be offering a fantastic collection of 18th and 19th century swords and Napoleonic collectibles.  A rare set of medals, dagger and Letter Patent of a Prussian Hussar officer who perished in the 1870 Franco Prussian War, and several Russian medals lots from the Tsarist period are all set to excite bidders. A 16th Century Spanish hand-painted letter patents and a 19th Century Dutch Letter patents with royal signatures will also be included.


The sale features an exquisite series of Chinese Dragon Robes, jewellery and textiles from the Qing Dynasty, brought back to Belgium in the early 1900's by a Belgian Railway Engineer on the railway line linking China to French Indochina as well as Japanese robes and souvenirs brought back by a Belgian Ambassador in the 1950's.


To delight followers of fashion, Hermes and Delvaux bags and Yves Saint Laurent 1970's belts will be going under the hammer.

20th century works include a superb collection of over 20 works by Miguel Berrocal, mostly with their numbered and autographed instructions book. Amongst them is the Paloma (Picasso) Box –Retrato de Paloma. The graphic art portion features an early 20th century painting after Morgan Russell (certificate by Artexperts, NY) and works by Félicien Rops, Roger Duterme and Jacques Calonne (CoBra).
