Hellraiser is a British horror movie classic which is today considered to be the closest to a cult within its genre. The Film is based on the novel ‘The Hellbound Heart’ written by Clive Barker who also wrote and directed the first adaptation.

The Film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on the 13th May 1987 and has since become a franchise with ten films and several books.

The film's content explores juxtaposing themes of pain, pleasure, love and desperation, desires, evil and sudden death. At Prop Store you can take home one of the masks worn by the Pighead men during a threesome with the character Alisson behind a container in the latest film. However, the scene was cut out of the final version of the film.

Another highlight in Prop Store’s Hellraiser auction is Karl Watkins skinned body that was left on the surgery table in ‘Hellraiser: Judgement’.

The movie ‘Hellraiser’ begins in Morocco where Frank Cotton buys a remarkable black box decorated with gold coloured ornaments. The box creates a portal into a world full of ‘Cenobites’ - and Hell is literally broken free.

Pinhead is the name of the main character of the film and bears this name because of the nails hammered into his skull. Pinhead is a Cenobite - a human monster who exposes his victims to torture-like sadomasochist experiments. Today he is considered an icon in the horror movie world. The costume above was used in several scenes in Hellraiser: Judgement, in Detective Carter’s nightmare during one of the monster’s terrifying torture sessions.

Frank Cotton becomes the first of the film’s many victims. One of the murder weapons that was also used to fool Karl Watkins (mentioned above) is also available for sale. Upon purchase of the item, a certificate will be enclosed that assures the authenticity of the item.
