Since opening in 2004, Stroud Auction Rooms have expanded to become one of the county’s leading salerooms with regular monthly two or three day auctions.

Stroud Auction Rooms can now be found in the 18th Century Grade II listed Lightpill Mill building, where there is approximately three times more floor space. By going just a few hundred yards across the Bath Road Trading Estate, the Gloucestershire-based auction house now consists of a much larger saleroom, with its new shelving and fittings, bigger lobby area and greatly increased storage facilities.

Owner and auctioneer Nick Bowkett says: "Staff has always given a great deal of time and attention to presenting items are professional as possible, but the increased space will allow lots to be displayed much more effectively."

Members of the public had their first chance to inspect the new saleroom during a viewing for the June sale and the feedback has been entirely positive.
