Next week at Sotheby's, over 130 lots of Scarfe's tongue-in-cheek politically charged cartoons will be going under the hammer in London. And the timing comes at no surprise, as this week no one can escape the headline that Theresa May triggered Article 50 - sealing the U.K's fate to leave the EU.

As well as his newspaper work, Scarfe has been the subject of over 50 solo shows, and today, his work is more relevant than ever. During a time of great political upheaval and a 'surely not?!' era Scarfe's images which poke fun at political heavyweights, the establishment and anyone part of any 'Boys (or Girls) club,' deeply resonate.

The Scarfe at Sotheby's sale will take place on 5th April, 2017. Check out more here.
