Delaunay's exhibition at Tate Modern will be the first UK retrospective dedicated to the artist. The exhibition will take place next year from 15th April- 9th August. Delaunay worked with her husband on her large-scale works and is famed for her use of vividly coloured geometrics. The show is co-organised with the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (Paris-Musées).

An exhibition of works by the South Africa-born, Amsterdam-based artist Marlene Dumas will be shown the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam this September, and will travel to Tate Modern in February 2015.

Organisers at the Stedelijk said: "It is the most comprehensive retrospective survey of her work in Europe to date and presents a compelling overview of her oeuvre from the late 1970s to the present."

Her work's explore gender, sexuality as well as other controversial topics including celebrity and the mass media.

Henry Moore's contemporary Barbara Hepworth will have an impressive retrospective at Tate Britain which will begin in June next year. The exhibition will then travel to Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo in November.
