The prop was supplied by the Kings of Craft Swaine Adeney Brigg, who have been creating umbrellas for the likes of royalty and prime ministers since 1836. In the scene below, the umbrella doubles up as a gun with a bullet proof canopy.

This umbrella has a polished chestnut handle, solid wooden shaft, wide black canopy and a gold-plated cover that is discreetly embossed with the 'K' logo.

As well as the geared-up umbrella, Swaine Adeney Brigg provided the leather goods for the film including suit carrier, attache case and wetpack - now those were some well suited and booted spies!
