He was invited during his visit to Dublin by local pub The Bernard Shaw to do a mural on their walls. The establishment is the sister bar of The Twisted Pepper, which was the first venue Macklemore ever performed in.


Notably, the work he produced bears resemblance to Picassso's stylized portraits. Macklemore was sure to sign his piece Macklemore, 37,000, Marlay Park, Dublin 2014. The 37,000 is a reference to the largest crowd he has ever drawn in, during a concert which took place in Dublin's Marlay Park.
