In partnership with Prince's estate, Pantone have created  a purple hue which became synonymous with the artist. From his logo to his custom-made Yamaha piano, his stage-wear and even his song titles, Prince was the King of Purple.

In a statement, Laurie Pressman, the vice-president of the Pantone Color Institute said: ''We are honoured to have worked on the development of Love Symbol #2, a distinctive new purple shade created in memory of Prince, 'the purple one.' A musical icon known for his artistic brilliance, Love Symbol #2 is emblematic of Prince’s distinctive style. Long associated with the purple family, Love Symbol #2 enables Prince’s unique purple shade to be consistently replicated and maintain the same iconic status as the man himself.''

What better way to celebrate the iconic Prince than with all things purple, check out our selection in homage to Prince and Love Symbol #2 below.
