In the video, the boy can be seen walking near the painting with a drink in hand, before he trips and pushes his fist through the artwork by Paolo Porpora. The artwork in question, entitled Flowers, is valued to be worth $1.5 million.

The Taipei gallery where the accident took place was exhibiting the Face of Leonardo: Images of a Genius show. Organisers of the exhibition are not demanding damage fees from the boy's family. Exhibition organisers reported to Focus Taiwan news that the painting was part of a private collection and was therefore insured.
