The exhibition is entitled 23 Video Portraits of Lady Gaga and is part of his ongoing work Video Portraits in which he studies famous pop culture figures. His subjects include Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Salma Hayek, and Isabella Rossellini to Macaulay Culkin.

Gaga is captured in each video in her trademark elaborately styled costumes and make-up. She is set to backdrops which echo classical art works, including Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres's 1806 painting Portrait of Mademoiselle Caroline Rivière and Jacque-Louis David's 1793 painting Death of Marat.

The series premiered at the Louvre last November and will be on view  at the Hamptons Art Center from 26th July through to 14th September.
