Selected pieces on sale include March 55 (amethyst) by Ben Nicholson which is estimated at £300 000-500 000, Picasso's lithograph Le Corsage à Carreaux, with an estimate of £30 000-50 000 and Henri Matisse's Jazz portfolio, 1947, estimated at £250 000-350 000.

A selection of drawings by Gustav Klimt, including Study of a Young Woman in Stockings, estimated at £25 000-40 000, which depicts a female nude, is from a series of drawings of the human body moving that the artist executed in 1906-1907.

Design furniture pieces from the couple's collection includes Line Vautrin and Piero Fornasetti mirrors, furniture by Jacques Adnet and George Nakashima and Jean Besnard ceramics.

Works by Zeng Chaunxing, Robert Mapplethorpe and Keith Haring will also be going up for auction.

The collection is from the couple's Queen Anne's Gate home, London, and features over 200 lots collected over the past 20 years.
