The fashion market is proving its global popularity, in Fellows' inaugural Designer Collection auction earlier this month, over 80% of 400 plus lots of handbags sold to bidders from around the world.

The Designer Collection was Fellows’ first dedicated branded auction and was co-ordinated by Sophie Higgs in the Vintage Department at Fellows.

Sophie commented “it was a joy to work with pieces from such prestigious design houses and see our customer’s reactions at viewing events over the past couple of weeks. Looking at the auction results and hammer prices makes all the hard work worthwhile!”

Fellows auctioneers may have their roots in the 19th century, but the auction house is proof that timed online auctions are attracting global buyers. Along with detailed online condition reports and 360° imagery, bidders can check out potential purchases entirely online with confidence.
