The selection of lots from 1200 – 1263 offers a magnificent opportunity for collectors to discover or revisit unique malt whiskies which may never be seen again at auction in such quantity and variety.

Springbank Distillery is strongly represented in the catalogue a single sherry cask 20 year old and a 25 year old standing out, along with a case of six 30 year old Milroy Selection dominating the Campbeltown horizon.

As ever Macallan is well represented, with 1938  and 1950 vintages taking pride of place and a wide selection of bottles from the Ardbeg portfolio makes a welcome return.

The bumper day continues after the Whisky auction with another offering of what we may term 'All That Is Not Uisgea Beatha'. The Wine, Port & Eau De Vie event features wine vintages old and new.

Foremost amongst the wine selection are a magnum of 1968 Chateau Latour and  a 1999 Penfold's Grange. Port is present from the 1990's back to the 1940s, several fine Portuguese wine styles are featured, and a truly eclectic and a very high quality showing of Cognac and Armagnac from the most revered houses ensures that this event should be on the radar of any discerning oenologist
