All auctions in one place

In 2011, Barnebys was founded in Stockholm by Christopher Barnekow, Pontus Silfverstolpe, Gustaf Grapengiesser and Christofer Ferriera Gomes, with the goal to open up the auction and art world to everyone. In one place, we've gathered object from all over the world, in order to create an overview and make it easy for potential buyers to find what they're looking for. What we offer is the world's largest search service for current objects from auction houses and dealers as well as a bank of millions of realised prices. Barnebys is run by the founders with external funding. A few of our investors are Industrifonden, Active Venture Partners, Howsat and Monkfish. The latter two also contribute with knowledge and experience from having developed two of the world's most recognised and well-used meta search services - Momondo and Trivago.

Barnebys is now in place in seven countries and has over one million visitors every month.

Alongside the search service, our editorial staff are also dedicated to keeping you up-to-date with the world of art, culture and the auction industry at large.
