Seljuk Persia, 11th/12th c., manuscript on dark buff paper, 188ff. with 27ll. of dark sepia eastern kufic, diacritics in red and green, sura headings in gold, marginal medallions in gold, red and green, opening folio with illuminated heading, lacunae, some light dampstaining throughout and few leaves repaired to margins, later dark brown Ottoman morocco binding with flap, blind embossed decoration with arabesque to centre of each board, rebacked & flap hinges repaired, small 4to, approx. 124 x 95mm (5 x 4in.) baqarah.
