Collection of early 20th-century ocean liner and European tourism ephemera, primarily related to the Cunard Line. The group includes a promotional booklet titled Your Trip to Europe containing an article regarding currency exchange for American travelers and photographic plates of Continental scenes including Deauville and Brussels. A featured cruise booklet for the new Cunard liner Laconia documents a 1922-1923 around-the-world cruise in partnership with the Hellman Commercial Trust and Savings Bank of Los Angeles, California. Two small tan Art Deco style booklets feature a stylized color illustrations of a sun over a landscape and a circular embossed logo for the Cunard Line depicting a lion rampant holding a globe. The collection further includes an assortment of unused postcards depicting Cunard steamships with signature red and black funnels and a postcard with the Cunard Office in Liverpool.
